Mining Projects Group chairman Bryan Frost tops up shareholding
Mining Projects Group (ASX: MPJ) executive chairman Bryan Frost has purchased an additional 1.98 million shares on-market.
Frost acquired the shares for a total consideration of A$13,895, providing an average entry price of $0.007 per share.
Substantial shareholder Queensland M M Pty Ltd has also increased its stake to 16.48% after acquiring further shares during November.
Queensland M M Pty Ltd is an entity related to Frost.
Mining Projects has made an entrance into the highly prospective Albany Fraser Orogen acquiring rights to three exploration lease applications prospective for nickel/copper/gold last month.
The company has signed a binding Heads of Agreement with Epi Energy Pty Ltd with an option to acquire a 70% interest in three exploration lease applications located in the Fraser Range.
The optioned tenement package in Western Australia has a footprint of over 566 square kilometres within this emerging mineral province.
By way of comparison, Sirius Resources (ASX: SIR), with its Nova nickel-copper discovery in the Fraser Range, has a 1,500 square kilometre landholding.
One tenement to be acquired – E69/3082 60 – is located in the heart of the Fraser Range Orogen. It is likely to be prospective for nickel, copper and gold mineralisation potentially under sedimentary cover.
The option covering the tenement package can be exercised dependent on due diligence and preliminary exploration
