bruceyg, I saw similar report last night, I think Julie's response was to the affect that the previous Government had made the massive expenditure and decision for Australia to be involved and that the Abbott Government would honor this commitment at it's highest integrity.
Certainly a far cry from the egotistical blip and the latter guy.
At last we have somebody we can feel will represent the Country at it's diplomatic best again.
I used to think Hilary Clinton [ albeit wrong political party ] was good, but our Julie leaves Hilary for dead.
The media & the Opposition certainly didn't waste any time, knocking the lack of females in the Ministry, what they failed to take into consideration, is that Julie Bishop is on par with ten blokes [ and I am a bloke ]
Proud to be an Australian again.
