I am not keen on slanging matches, however I like to keep things pretty much correct. My version of correct admittedly.
First of all, I made no criticism of Bob, veiled or otherwise. I just thought your Bob lovefest was a bit over the top and wanted to keep it real. He does a great job in a hard game, but he is supposed to!! I don't believe in adulating people for just doing what they are supposed to do. See too much of it these days.
As for support for Kar, by instos or anyone else, well the Sp says it all, unfair, unrepresentative or otherwise. The only metric that counts, to judge a company by.
As for Twiggy, well I saw him the other night whilst having dinner at the Stamford. I was really keen to go over, shake his hand and tell him what a fantastic job he has done building FMG. I really admire self made people. Unfortunately, he had a phone to his ear the whole time. (and I was a bit gutless.) :)
If you think going from $2 to $5 over 8-10 years is exponential growth, well I give up. And that's better than your other O&G shares?? You talk about the $2 days, so I am assuming you bought then, which means you have watched the sp go backwards from its high of $12 by about 60% over the last four years. Sorry, council your in the wrong game if that's your belief and the result of your other investments. Because the value of the assets is todays SP, until someone makes a better offer.!!
