Although, i was less bearish after the umpteenth interest rate cut. Trends do change. Landlords are in such a strong position. Yields increased while prices were stagnant and now the cream is back on. It's an enviable and virtually unbeatable position to be in.
Sat in on an auction close to home last week, crowd was spilling onto the street affecting traffic. Almost all young Asian buyers and some elderly investors. Price was 70k over reserve on a crappy 3 bed unit/villa with no yard.
Could be a temporary post election jump in confidence but then labor was gone 6 months ago. I'm expecting it to continue.
