It's it exactly the same reason whether to buy or sell, take the 1/5 or not it's about where people see value - all the last few days has really down is ignite a little trading frenzy - the actual outcome of a 1/5 issues is really pretty trivial, it's pretty much just a small reward to shareholders while the company also builds bank. It's overshot & undershot the mark for how the share price value was held pre-rights - as the actual impact again of 1/5 is fairly trivial with not a huge difference to how the company is valued when it over shoots you sell when it's under you buy - the change in percentage of both rise and fall have provided more capital return that the 1/5 itself will bring. Hence at todays high you would of come out better by taking the price at high and missing the 1/5.
Don't forget it's 1/5 whichever way you look at so the price on 5 shares you already own far outweighs the difference 1 at a discount is going to make.
