MICHAEL WEIR...how reliable is the author of this story?

Assuming he is, and he hasn't simply made it all up, these developments are extremely positive.

Obviously an MOU with BHP will only further enhance CAZ's position, but the move by Andrew Forest in particular is what might turn the music up somewhat...it may also have an impact on the BHP MOU, in particular, any equity arrangements that may come with it.

I would not be surprised to learn that BHP have taken up a blocking stake...about 5m shares?

If CAZ is successful at Shovelanna, BHP will not want CAZ taken out, nor for that matter will RIO...as such, I suspect several players will try to build a blocking stake in the company.

With 6m shares, Forrest has already got his...now it's up to the others.

With so few shares on issue, any perceptions of inherent "value" may have to give way to the politics of the larger players.

lol...I think it might be best to go fishing for a few days...then come back and see if there is a '5' in front of the share price.
