The thread is about Abbott not contributing or having any responsibility for the deaths. I posed a question that challenges that view.
There is a lot of noise about other stuff from posters, but no one has even attempted to answer the simple question I asked.
So the question still stands unanswered.
If Abbott hadn't of opposed the Malaysian deal, how many of those 700 deaths that followed, could have been avoidable?

Those here can skirt around on other unrelated fluff as much as they like, but the simple fact is less people would have died if Abbott hadn't of opposed the legislation that would have allowed the Malaysian deal.
As can also be seen from official figures 33,000 Asylum seekers arrived after Abbott opposed the Malaysian deal.
"...The Coalition are calling for a fair chance to implement their policies, unfortunately the Coalition didn't extend the same courtesy which may have saved a large portion of those 700 who died...."
