The first one approved by FDA was provenge By Dndreon ,a similar PFS at ph2 to cvac and a similar dendritic treatment focussing on muc1 secreting tumours.
OS proved to be vey good and hence FDA approval but it was a very bumpy ride to approval. Just look at dendreon's chart over the years leading to approval.
