    Regarding: We haven't been printing money as far as I know but back in 1998 I think it was Howard sold 75% of Australia's GOLD. This smashed the POG and the AUD on the world market. Which is worse, printing money or selling your GOLD reserves?

    This is the first time I have heard of this. I am familiar with the UK gold sale of 395 tons i.e. "Brown's Bottom" during the period July 1999-March 2002.
