    I find this is confusing.

    on one hand it is fantastic that TNG now owns 100% of the technology.

    on the other hand they have paid nothing for it. A 25% licence fee or future royalty fee is less than the 50% they would have gotten already?

    Does that mean it is worthless today?
    or are there other factors involved?
