It may be a mess and it may be confusing, but it is not dead, The court ordered a pla shareholder vote, that can't just be ignored. Jubilee have the technology to mine Smokey hills at a profit don't forget. Nobody else can do that at current pgm prices. There is also the very real scenario of the merged entity in turn merging with someone like Northam at some future stage.
The only way for pla shareholders to get anything back is to support the merger IMHO. If anyone bought the assets (unlikely due to tax payable at 50% on mining right purchases in S.A)
There would be nothing left to distribute.
It is more than frustrating, but Jubilee today recived a mining right over 70million oz. Tjate. One of the last monster plays on the Bushveld. It has a npv of £1.8billion! and they are starting the tailings operation, so will be generating much needed cash.
Write the deal off at your peril imho.
good luck all.
