If you really want sell,lets say 1,000,000 shares, you know that everyday you must really perform and pick lots of 5,000 or 10,000 and so on...

If you place 12,000 to BUY at 4.82 and the market is 4.84 what (if exist) a real seller will do...

He sells the small lots 4.84 and 4.83 just to come to your lot and sell at 4.82 and get rid of 12,000.
And they need to do that plenty of times a day during several days and weeks just to complete their 1% (lets say)

But this is not what happen..

When you place BUY order 1,2 or 3 cents less..nobody come to buy your lot... very usual see the price going up and "somebody" accepting the opposite..Buy a little bit more expensive..

Conclusion?

We have BUYERS on board (nor sellers)
