I have had a few minor ones come out of the blue myself. The most disturbing thing is the randomness.
I did see a Doc, relaxation methods didnt work so went down the med route.
Prescribed anti-depressants (Cymbalta or Zoloft) for long term control and valium to deal with any major episodes.
I ditched the anti-depressants because I didnt like the idea of having to depend on meds long term.
I stayed with the Valium because (1) you use it on a needs only basis, (2) it definitely works and (3) it makes you float. Obviously Valium is addictive so you need to use them sparingly and I suppose over-use will make the body resistant to its effectiveness.
