You mentioned FML in your post. The comparison with ABU is chalk & cheese. FML was and possibly still is a poorly run company. Extremely poor management who were more interested in fame and the high life, with the efficient mining of gold a secondary consideration. Anyone can boast about how many ounces they have in the ground. The trick is to get it out and to the mint at a profit, in that they have failed dismally. They did have disadvantages, old workings, mining deeper to extract the ore, some shocking business decisions, but thats what a company has a management for, to have a finger on the pulse of their operations, not having a reputation for throwing the biggest and best pissup at Diggers & Dealers. This year they didnt front up, probably too embarrassed. ABU has a virgin discovery, high grade ore from the surface down, a highly professional management team that has delivered on every occasion. Hopefully they do have a few bottles of MOET on ice when the results are in on the trial mining.
