What I find fascinating is why people always want to know why a stock moves up or down. The most important thing to recognise is, is the stock going up or down and go with the path of least resistance and don't ask why.

Over the years I have seen many stocks such as SMA turn into aggressive accelerating trends, these trends always lead to price and volume expansion and keep running harder and more ferociously the higher they go until they simply hit a brick wall and reverse in an aggressive manner. The key here is to recognise when its about to change from price gains to price falls and not to get burnt in the process.

The charts and market depth are great for identifying this for me.

At the moment SMA is still going up and thats good enough for me.
