The word foreigner is a simple way to describe non locals. It is not derogatory.
For the 10th time, I welcome any foreigner to set up shop and make money here. But when that raises the AUD, interest rates, wages and inflation etc which makes it very difficult for the local businesses, then that is what I have a problem with.
If Bunnings is 100% foreign owned I wouldn't care, as they are not hollowing out our economy and making it difficult for everyone else not in that industry.
