Hi everyone, missed a few back and forth posts from yesterday. I have been watching LOM and one of my considerations before I purchase a stock is the amount of shares on offer amongst many others. 3 billion seemed quite excessive to me but if what Meerkat says is true it is closer to 6 billion then wow.

I understand that the number of shares doesn't matter in the context of the market cap which holds far greater importance but for me if I hold a stock with great prospects/fundamentals and say 300million shares on offer and say 10-20 million of them are held by Directors, staff, SI's, etc then I am more inclined to invest than in a coy that has over 5 billion shares on offer which is much more (imo) susceptible to manipulation.

The other point is that if a sub 1cent coy has already issued over 6 billion shares - I am not interested in the low cost because the next CR will be for barely .1 .2 of a cent - even with a consolidation.

Anyway was looking at the great news of LOM yesterday and considering investing in them after watching them for so long. IMHO - A picture says a thousand words and LOM has this and their fundamentals down pat - a lot going for them just the registry and the sheer volume scares me. If I am in a pool full of corks and the plug gets pulled - I neither have the time or the patience to jump ship and I become another casualty of the stock software ripper.
