Hey, that's funny Moly as I see it as the easiest race of the day - just back the top 3 in the Prelude, EBB ($8.50), El R ($7.00) and LJ ($4.00)- best lead-up race, race handy or lead, 1st 3 into the straight perhaps. The 3 of them should have easy runs up the front.
I liked EBB the 1st time I saw him when he won in a canter at his 1st start over 1000m. The way he won that day immediately made me think he was bred for sprinting, and so it surprised me greatly to read he was by Savabeel out of a Singspiel mare. The 1600m should be no trouble for him and I expect him to beat home LJ, notwithstanding the weight disadvantage today. I'm expecting more improvement from him.
The big query tho is how good El Roca might be. This is only his 4th start and 1st prep perhaps. He's an improver. The acceleration he showed before the turn last start to make the others chase was something special I think. I am very wary. Both EBB and ER are over the odds in my book.
