What's wrong with carrying cards, they're lighter and cheaper than a mobile and don't need batteries. If I drop a card during a transaction I pick it up, if I drop a phone I'm stuffed.

If the software on the phone stuffs the transaction up is it my fault or the bank's.
When I make the transaction what other data on my phone is transmitted as well ?

I still need a wallet to carry my driver's license/id cards and my phone.
