It is already an accepted fact that any form of technology will eventually get superceded through scientific and technological advancements. For example, look at the initial emergence of Apple's smart phones and the initial success they enjoyed. Since then, competitors have slowly caught up with arguably better and lower cost offerings.

However, for a company to survive, it is more about accepting these technological enhancements and how it deals with the rise in competition. Apple and similar companies have survived and maintained their market dominance by being the first to get their foot in the door as well as having sound management that can deal with such changes.

I'm of the opinion that MNW possesses both the competitive advantage at present and the right management team to deal with technological changes and being able to eventually positioning themselves against the rise in competition.
