id personally prefer a pre market announcement as it brings some sort of a panic hype IMO and then gives the full trading day for the news to sink in. Plus it makes me less anxious knowing that when I wake up, the announcement is already there, no need to bite nails waiting :P
Something toward the end of the week would be nice, it would be great for one of the local/state newspapers to write a few snippets on the weekend further enticing fence sitters, or those who previously had no idea BGS existed.
