    I have tried to keep the Australian governments approach to this out of my posts as it then attracts the criticism of those who would rather see this guy hang than see the Australian government criticised.

    However, for various reasons, mostly to do with avoiding embarrassment for past stances, this government now appears to have washed its hands of the issue. They are not willing to even explore avenues that may save this young man's life.

    I can tell you, their response would be different if it was the son of one of Australia's wealthiest. Their hypocrisy will come home to haunt them.

    They are also afraid of upsetting Singapore in anyway, so, Nguyen Van Tuong will be murdered.

    Stand tall Singapore and celebrate your clean streets. Then go and pick up the bodies from the gallows.
