    cusox,

Toll was talking of a $4 dollar figure but it may not have related to a takeover offer. There have been posts from other posters to expect the unexpected which could be interpreted as relating to a takeover .

All the shorting /churning has to be for a purpose and a takeover cannot be ruled out.

It has been one of my considerations but I only comment on it now as you have raised it.

A partial takeover is possible and at a low takeover offer now that the share price has been dropped to what it is today by the unusual sell down by M@G of their large holding coupled with a shorting attack and churning.

This sell down by a long term shareholder is unusual in that it coincides with the strongest position CuDeco is in .
The hard work has been done, mining has commenced, the processing plant is under construction and the profit stream is in sight.

It was a curious decision by M@G. Aka speaks of a tiff between M@G and Wayne McCrae. There has to be more to it than that if one did occur.

m@G are in the business of making money not losing it . My understanding is that ,whilst unloading CuDeco shares ,they were buying more of OZ Minerals, a poor move as it turned out.

That after hours sale by M@G of over 5% of CuDeco was made to more than one interested party in acquiring a stake in CuDeco as there has been no notification of new ownership.

In all probability, that large stake is held in nominee accounts where ownership is concealed from ordinary shareholders.

Now I will address your $3 figure. A 50 per cent increase on the current price [ kept down for 3 months] may look good on paper but would only receive partial acceptance.

Long term shareholders are not selling for $3 dollars. They know the worth of CuDeco is when the quarterly profits start flowing and are looking beyond the initial production into a much expanded operation into the future and with a growing resource.

CuDeco is an attractive proposition from a predator's stance. It has the resource [ not restricted to one mineral] no debt, owns its own equipment, office and workers accommodation, trained experienced personnel and importantly is building the infrastructure [ rail and port ] to export its products to the world.

In addition, the resource keeps on expanding and there is ten years of drilling ahead to test identified targets at Rocklands. I am looking forward to seeing what comes out of the new area .

A takeover is totally dependent on the way the disparate Chinese groups would react to such a proposal. I ,personally, am not of the opinion that these disparate groups get together for takeover purposes.

My concern would be that they came to an arrangement with a predator from a supply angle . They would not be accepting a three dollar offer without a sweetener.

I have said it before that Wayne McCrae plans ahead and would be well aware that CuDeco is vulnerable at the current share price. He would have a prepared strategy ready for implementation.

    Expect the unexpected from Wayne.
