Folks
I've had this for a very long time and feel a need to comment.
cdubya1. The high debt to equity ratio is due in part to the $400mil they borrowed for the packaging upgrade (they now produce PET bottles in line, commonly termed Blow-fill)which reduces cost and has the potential to reduce PET weights,,,read more profitability. What that means is the benefit far outweighs the risk.
deeks01. Just so we are clear, TCCC (The Coca-Cola Company) is not and never was the parent company of CCA and there is no association with them other than a share holding just like us. They do however have board positions.
They are a safe equity which is why I chose to stay but they are slow.
Cheers
