ds, we all have war stories but 6 months ago I realised I needed to spread my risk and my frustration. I found a few gems( NEU, AHZ, VMT, WDR ) and started making some coin and enjoying investing again ( resources and PMG's suck, WDR,PXG excluded).
I needed to sell some ADO 4 weeks ago for a sure thing and I could not get rid of them ......the opportunity cost is one thing but the market is so tight in ADO that any serious buyer/seller needs to be uber patient to buy or sell a serious holding.
I managed to sell some of the other laggards that I had been sitting on and took advantage of the opportunity.
The funny thing is I am glad that I did not get to sell my ADO shares because I am sure they will crack the big POC/China/nano/gold/microtitre/boat hull thing very soon and I have the same serenity as Onshow ( good to see you visiting MBE and WDR) regarding my shares in ADO.
There are some amazing businesses on the the ASX and even though I will leave my existing chunk snoozing in ADO the other chunk is playing the field and having a ball.

PS: I also watched Telstra from $2.70 with a frozen finger!
