Exactly, take Sydney for example, even if you bought in the far western suburbs you would be looking at 450k plus, then add in commuting costs, child care, car costs and then we say wages are too high, try doing any of that on less than 20$ per hour, also negative gearing is just another piece of the real estate Ponzi scheme that appears to have one generation stealing the wealth of the next, add in cashed up chinese buyers and a ridiculous figure of 300k plus immigrants and any aussie wanting to buy a home is squeezed all round.
