re: News: Millennium ramping up profitable go... I didn't hear the man answer the presenters question about: what are MOY's average cash costs?
I'd be interested to know what the "All In Cash Costs per an ounce of gold" are?
From the half year report:
'C1 cash costs' $794/oz
x gold poured 33,530 oz
= C1 costs $26.623mil
I assume C1 is made up of just:
mining expenses $11.380mil
+ process expense $15.128mil
= $26.508mil approximately = C1 costs $26.623mil
however:
Cost of Sales (including C1) is $37.777mil
/ gold poured 33,530 oz
cost per oz $1126
other costs
"Transaction cost" $1.683mil
Admin costs $2.755mil
+exploration costs
If my clac is wrong but I use the same method of calculating this All In Cash Costs per Oz accross all the gold produces I look at still enables me to compare like with like.
Rather than me calculating out the answer to MOY's All In Cash Costs per an ounce of gold, I think it would better serve MOY's shareholders if the company provided this info more clearly.
Also is the half year report in $AUD or $USD, it doesn’t say either way clearly enough for me.
