Asked yesterday by The Weekend Australian about the Brisbane placards, Ms Hutson said it was "not my demonstration" but had been staged by a Mr O'Hickson.

"We were in court that day and it started out with him outside the court and I fully expected police to move him on," she said. "He'd started on his own but he had a lot of supporters and the demonstration then moved four blocks to the front of our office."
