If that is a bait it's a pretty poor one. If not it reflects very poorly on the insights you have into education.
These days the great majority of teachers not only have multi-year tertiary qualifications they also have post-graduate certification, they are also required to maintain their training and practice just to retain registration.
That said, I gather you are aware that the great majority of our teachers are female so that your comment could therefore be seen as highly offensive and possibly even sexist.
Indeed, ignorant statements such as that remind me of the almost complete absence of women from Tony Abbott's cabinet; something of an anti-feminine theme that appears to pervade his thinking [his family excepted of course]. You should not swallow Abbott's flawed and delusional mantras hook, line and stinker!
