    re: firm sinks in p300m for mine one issue which gets me is the discussion of how little was spilled ... I think this is rubbish. I think much more was spilled ... someone on here suggested 6 bath tubs worth of cyanide, but I suspect that if you look at the slope of that hill in photos, then it takes alot more than 6 meazly tubs worth to even just reach the sea, let alone there being a large enough amount to kill fish in the sea.

    It's not even wet season there yet! ... Imagine the disaster that could happen if a DELUGE of water came running down that hill (and in these tropical parts these deluges go for 3 days without stopping) behind the mine, flowed into the cyanide storage tank and overflowed on the other side. That would be disasterous... thousands of litres of cyanide would end up all the way down the hill and also in the sea. The locals would end up with weird cancers and birth defects for the next 50 years.

    This company has shown themselves to be hopeless ... I'm never touching them again. Nor any companies where any of the directors sit on other boards.
