The moderators of HC issued a speed warning just a few days ago on the Politics thread. Fair enough.
The same moderators need to seriously consider moving all climate change threads - like this one - to a new "Religion" sub-heading.
The loonies have taken charge on climate issues - thrashing themselves with birch branches, wearing hairshirts and carrying on on in a most irrational manner.
I find it genuinely disturbing to see a few zealots who genuinely believe the earth will fry by next Wednesday unless we park our Toyotas, turn off the air-con and thrash ourselves with birch reeds. It is like a mass mental derangement. Settle down guys - the sky isn't falling, it won't fall, the earth won't fry because you drove to the shops.
