Well with a few more lead up races under our belts anyone warming to a particular fancy. Still have some crucial races to follow with Geelong Cup, MV Gold cup, Cox Plate, Mackinnon and Saab to give some horses final chance to qualify.
As for international raiders(new ones) there is a bit of talk around about Brown Panther and Verema. Both are winners in traditional overseas lead ups in Goodwood and Prix Kergolay.

No commentary sorry.
I have already had an early spec at Seville but will get a better idea after Saturday.
From the lead ups so far you would have to say Fiorente was one of the standouts in the Turnbull.
In the Caulfield Cup Fawkner, Dandino(Int.), and Dear DEmi and Moriarty performed well.
But for mine, Hawkspur is the one to watch. Very unlucky in both. Was the last to get going in the Turnbull and the Cup and finished as well as anything really. I have no idea about the breeding and whether this gelding can get the two miles, and remains the only query, for mine. The pumper will be on board and will not swap ride for anything else-(They all say that though-LOL)
