I live just outside of Auckland, but at the moment I'm on the West Coast USA observing what gold bugs reckon is the dying economic giant, but it's not happening. More airlines are planning flights to SFO, the place is buzzing.

Where I live property's booming, thousands of houses being built, intersections, expressways, bus lanes and terminals, shopping centres, water reticulation, it's non-stop.
Selling your property is a tricky business, I reckon gold will continue to decline, the SPDR Gold Fund selling is accelerating.

The world is gonna take off after such a prolonged recession and probably the minerals boom will go along for the ride, except for gold and silver.

And for those that think China's the place to be, check out the pollution in Harbin, 38 times the maximum safe level, visibility down to 20 metres. What fun!
