Yeah, there would be a sniff of a raising in the air. With the share price being where it is, probably wont be a pleasant one and I feel for you guys having to cop it.
I agree with your thoughts, if Bill can't flog it, then he needs to move on. There isn't a hope in hell that he will get funding and very unlikely a JV partner. I just wonder why someone like him would take on something like this? He's never been in sand and it's a very hard game, despite what people may say. Think about it, WA is the home of sand mining, but how many hopefuls have come through? I can think of a few small unlisted backyarders (as I have mentioned previously), but there really isnt anyone.
Also, the current list of hopefuls coming through have a better chance - MZI, SFX, even IMA.
As for GUN shareholders and the AGM. I think you might be surprised with the backlash, get enought small holders to vote against the resolutions and whatever way Tilbrook votes may not be an issue.
Probably a good lesson for everyone, just because a big holder is buying and have accomplished some other good business ventures, doesn't mean it's going to come through.
As for J.T., hasn't the man done some dough. His broker should be taken to his nursery and be shown how fertiliser is made.
