WAIVER FROM LISTING RULE 9.2.5

NZX Regulation has granted Allied Farmers Limited (ALF) a waiver from the
NZSX Listing Rule 9.2.5 requirement for its Notice of Annual Meeting to be
accompanied by an Appraisal Report. The background and reasons for the
granting of the waiver are set out in the waiver decision that will be
released by NZX Regulation immediately following this announcement.

ALF's Notice of Annual Meeting and Proxy Form will be distributed and made
available on ALF's website www.alliedfarmers.co.nz from this Friday 25
October 2013.
