shadowboxer1, why do you want to exclude the exploration costs from the total project cost? They are as much a part of the Rocklands Project as any other capital cost - after all, without them there would be no mine or anything else. All other projects do have them - and if the project is successful, they are included in capital - if not, they are written off.

So my June 30th numbers do include the $39m (and climbing, as exploration is still continuing at Rocklands South, with every expectation by the company that it will be included in the new pit design) giving a cost of $277m. Then we have capital commitments in the annual report of $54m, bringing it up to $331m. Add to that the costs yet to be incurred by CDU on the project itself, which includes all the concrete foundations and aprons, all the electrical work, some of the piping and we don't know what else, that could easily be $50m, bringing us up to $381m, which is almost double $200m.

You can see from the aerial pics in the ball mill ann. just how much concreting has yet to be done - four thickeners, alljig, copper cleaning, flotation cells, tower mills .....
