50million in the bank does can cover ur drilling or ur metallurgy test work. That figure cannot cover any sort of mining capex opex and all the regulatory hurdles to overcome.
Financing or script equity does it really matter at this stage?? Debt deal still requires a interest payment or partnering (still a dilution of your investment).
Theres still much much more to do.
Just my thoughts as the markets are forward looking pricing in prospectivity, and thats why people hold.
