Ichimoku Trader, I have enjoyed reading much of what you have said on this thread but care needs to be taken that your reasoning lines up with what the Bible teaches rather than what religions claiming to be Christian says it teaches. For instance "Consider, for a moment, the interesting possibility that you, as a person, may continue to exist after the death of your physical body." The Bible teaches that man IS a soul(as are animals)derived from the Hebrew word nephesh(literally meaning 'soul' or 'breathing creature'),not that he Has a soul.Gen 2:7;Ezek18:4. So life after death is dependent on a resurrection which is both a gift from God & reward for faithfulness. Hebrews 11:6
