Igilug without a being prior to humanity there cannot be absolute moral values.
You need to come to terms with this fact, it's painful but for atheism it is what it is. There is no answer to the problem which erodes the atheistic faith followers.
You can babble on tangents like the other pagans do but meaningless is a real problem, Camus, Sarte, Nietzsche, Wells all struggled with it and at the end of their lives they acknowledged their failure.
Atheism isn't rocket science by a long shot, but it seems most of the cosmonaughts riding on the ship don't understand the volatile fuel that feeds the faith that eventually runs it dry.
