OK Aka hooter, I'll go through this slowly for you.
If, (a very big if) I can buy 1 million rights for 1c each.
Cost = $10,000
During AGM some good news, shares rise above $2.50, lets say $3.00. The rights are now worth over $1 each and my holding of original shares has also gone up.
I now sell some rights and original shares to finance the new shares with option. Later, I can sell some of my options to pay for the conversion to new shares, or more likely the large tax bill.
But again, you already knew all this.
Yes, I'm a novice, only been doing this for 33 years now, and still learning.
Hopefully you shorters can keep the price down for a few more weeks, however I seriously doubt it, hence why I have been buying more at current prices.
