Some great tips and ideas on this thread..amazing how all do things differently..one big tip is never buy the initial run on anything you don't understand..great lesson l learnt with esi long ago..hang around anystock after a few days of rising prices as most trade on credit so to speak..pretty profitable..l to sometimes make the mistake of buying runners but only when market is hot..find stocks that have top 20 holding heaps off and directors buying up stock but only after checking cash in quartely. as sometimes they buy to hook you into next c.r most of its gambling but placing your bets before crowd has arrived helps or buying swing trades until certain points holding still would recommend my son to make his first few hundred k with honest work as appreciating money learnt with a hard days work puts perspective on things..also keep a grand on your desk to remind you what real money is.. Anyway always easier after the fact luck to all
