I think you are jumping at shadows on this one.
I saw the detailed portfolio of loans that BOS was selling which included NXS.
NXS was one of the better loans in there - it was fully performing, some were not. It appeared to me that NXS and a couple of other larger performing loans were included in the mix to offset the really sh*t ones that were in there.
It is no secret that Lloyds / BOS have been exiting their loan portfolios in Australia all together ( "hurry hurry, closing down sale, price marked down, everything must go" - and this is part of the clean up.
(p.s. we did not pursue the purchase)
