Filby is quite correct. There was nothing untoward about the Chairman's suggestion to close the meeting. In fact, he stated that he expected questions would continue following the formal closure of the meeting.
Humorously, I don't think it was formally closed; it rather faded like a post-mortem following a successful preliminary final . . .
