hostile takeover

One of the problems with PAB having such a small market cap is the possibility of a hostile takeover from Big Pharma.

I don't know who holds most of the shares except that Calder and Stork hold 25% between them. So what would happen if someone makes a bid at 10 cents a share? I think the board would recommend that we don't accept - and I certainly wouldn't - but where are the balance of the shares in PAB?

I believe that Patrys has something special and I'm in for the long-term. But I'd be gutted if some other company obtained 50.1% of the shares and took us over for a pittance.

Has anyone any experience of this happening? Do the directors+Stork+ us little guys have enough to hold of a hostile take-over?

For a few million, PAB looks a tempting target for acquisition-hungry companies.

    Cheers
