ASA calls time on six chiefs
The Australian Shareholders Association has called on six prominent company chairmen - including Fairfax chairman Roger Corbett and corrupt White Energy chairman Travers Duncan - to step down from their roles in underperforming companies.

Mr Curry said the ASA would also oppose the re-election of White Energy chairman Duncan following his adverse finding by the Independent Commission Against Corruption in August. Duncan was found to have acted corruptly in his investment in Cascade Coal, a company partly owned by the family of Eddie Obeid, and also held a coal exploration licence on the ALP powerbroker's property.
