The media always talks of fat vs calories in realtion to weight loss but sugar is probably more important imo, especially when you consider it's addictive nature & the havoc it plays on your insides.
I recently went a month of ultra low sugar intake & thoroughly enjoyed it. It was interesting & quite quite staggering to learn at how much sugar is in our food...Cereals, condiments, fruit & even in your 'healthy' juices - This was the hardest part for me being an avid OJ fan/junkie!
Mrs Carpe endured a few cranky moments from me as my body adjusted but on the whole, I would highly recommend it :)
