Can see this ongoing placement from both sides.

Company wants to ensure it has plenty of cash to continue if results dont go well.

As a shareholder I've purchased with the risk of a bad result and upside from a successful. I dont like the upside being dampened by continual placements. Why would an institution by on-market when it can go to the company (or its broker) and get a swag at just below the market price?

Would rather that if the company sees the need to have a certain amount of cash on hand before trial results then it approaches all shareholders with an offer (as it did earlier in the year) and then get on with it.
