From Exoma website:
'Shale Oil / Gas
The Cretaceous Toolebuc Shale has long been recognized as a potential hydrocarbon resource. The shale is noted as having an exceptionally high organic matter content (TOC >5%), a uniform thickness (~35 metres), extensive fault-related natural fracturing and good isolation from aquifers.
Reports over the past century from water wells drilled through the Toolebuc provide anecdotal evidence of oil and gas shows. More recently, during the 1970’s and 1980’s, mud logging results from convention oil and gas wells provide evidence of wet gas – to the extent that the Toolebuc was tested as a potential hydrocarbon zone.
Analysis of the data gathered in 2011 and 2012 and tested to date indicates that the Toolebuc shale within the joint venture permit areas is likely to be insufficiently mature to have generated sufficient hydrocarbons for commercial production.'
* I hope I have not offended anyone by copying this section (not familiar with rules lifting stuff on websites for illustrations purposes) I mean no offence, only to show wot they had/have.
Doesn't AJQ have more suitable tenements & terrain with all signs pointing more favourable? Please correct me if I misunderstand AJQ results so far.
Share Prices of course represents future wealth as well as its current situation. Twitter & co is a case in point!
But agree long term story..and yes, we're 'hunting' but at least hitting a few targets, which has got to be good!
