what we need is for both parties to sit down with their lawyers face to face, fly in a Philippine representative, and nut out the initial stages of a solution. That's it in its most basic form - obviously getting something agreed on to everyone satisfaction is highly complex but decisions to this point being made over the phone or by email or whatever, is pretty unbelievable really. If it goes to court, everyone except BHP Billiton is going to come out very battered and bruised ..... and broke !! Get BHP to put something on the table first then negotiate from there. I'm still very interested to see how this closes today - obviously volume is massive, but just interested to see if buyers can come out on top by the close or not - will report back EOD. E
