    Hi Andrix. What's your latest take on the prospects for CBD? If the energy bonds are well subscribed the company will have much needed liquidity. The interest rate paid is much lower than CBD pays on other debt, will this help?

    To be honest I wasn't that impressed though.

    Frankly I think the shares are a better bet than the energy bonds. The shares don't have much further to fall and could rise substantially if the company's performance improves. However if the company fails, the liquidation process (administration fees and other) would almost certainly wipe out most of the value of the bonds in my opinion, even though they are described as 'secured'.
